What’s changing? From February 25, 2026, British citizens must travel to the UK using a valid British passport or Irish Passport.. This means that dual citizens can no longer use an ETA visa or their foreign passport to enter the UK.
ie: NZ citizen and UK citizen, when travelling to the UK, you must enter on your UK passport, if this has expired you will need to renew it to travel.
